Release of Foreign Relations Volumes

The Department of State released today, June 10, 2004, Foreign Relations, 1964-1968, volume XXXIII, Organization and Management of Foreign Policy; United Nations. Release of this volume, part of the ongoing official record of American foreign policy, documents for the first time how U.S. foreign policy and intelligence establishments were organized and managed. A section on the United Nations focuses on the perennial problem of financing UN peacekeeping efforts, Chinese representation, and the creation of a United Nations Peacekeeping Force for Cyprus.
