Alleged Al-Qaeda Threat Against the U.S. Embassy in Honduras

Question:   Did al-Qaeda threaten the U.S. Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras?

Answer:   The Embassy in Honduras has not received any direct threats. We are aware of press reports about the security situation in Honduras and are taking appropriate measures in coordination with Honduran security authorities.
