Deputy Secretary Travel to Europe and Middle East

Deputy Secretary of State Richard L. Armitage will travel to Ankara, Turkey and the Middle East starting December 29, for consultations on matters of mutual interest. Deputy Secretary Armitage is expected to return to Washington, D.C., on January 3.
