Remarks to the Traveling Press in Indonesia

MR. BOUCHER: After stopping in Colombo, Sri Lanka, tomorrow to look at tsunami relief efforts, the Secretary of State will be traveling on to Nairobi, Kenya. In Nairobi, he will witness the signing on Sunday of the comprehensive peace accords on Sudan. While in Nairobi on Saturday and Sunday, he will meet with Kenyan government officials, as well as Sudanese leaders. The specifics of the schedule are still being put together, and we will get them to you once the schedule is worked out. Okay?

QUESTION: Can I ask you one thing on that? Will you be talking about Darfur?

MR. BOUCHER: I’m sure we will talk about Darfur with the Sudanese officials.
