Briefing on Tsunami-Affected Countries and the U.S. Relief EffortU.S. Agency for International Development Administrator Andrew Natsios will brief the media on his visit to tsunami-affected countries and the ongoing U.S. relief effort at 12:30 p.m. in the State Department Briefing Room (Room 2209) on Monday, January 10, 2005. This briefing will be on-camera and on-the-record.
Members of the press who do not have a State Department building pass should arrive at the 23rd Street entrance by 12:15 p.m. for clearance through security and access to the briefing room.
Media representatives may attend this briefing upon presentation of one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
