Meeting of the Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy

The Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy (ACIEP) will meet on Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. in Room 1107 of the Harry S Truman Building. The meeting will be hosted by Assistant Secretary of State for Economic and Business Affairs E. Anthony Wayne and Committee Chairman R. Michael Gadbaw.

The Committee serves the U.S. Government in a solely advisory capacity concerning current issues and problems in international economic policy. Topics for the meeting include U.S. visa policy, the Central American – Dominican Republic Free Trade Agreement, and subcommittee updates.

The meeting will last until approximately 4:30 p.m. and is open to the public, as seating capacity allows. Admittance to the State Department building will be by pre-arranged clearance list. To be placed on this list, provide by March 10 your name, title, company or other affiliation if appropriate, social security number (or other identification number, such as driver's license number), date of birth, and citizenship to the Office of Economic Policy Analysis and Public Diplomacy by fax (202) 647-5936 (Attention: Gwendolyn Jackson), email (jacksongl@state.gov), or telephone (202) 647-0847.
