Briefing on the U.S. - EU Ministerial

A senior official from the Bureau for European and Eurasian Affairs will brief the press on background on the upcoming U.S.-EU Ministerial at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1 in Room 4517.

Pick-up time for media representatives who wish to attend the briefing is 1:15 p.m. from the 23rd Street Entrance.

The U.S.-EU Ministerial will take place at the Department of State on June 2 and will be an opportunity to discuss with our European partners a variety of critical and timely issues including the Middle East, China and the promotion of freedom and democracy.

Media representatives wishing to attend the briefing must present one of the following at the 23rd Street entrance: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (State Department, Defense Department, White House, Congress, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
