11:00 a.m. Under Secretary of State for Democracy and Global Affairs Dr. Paula Dobriansky will be joined by Secretary of Health and Human Services Mike Leavitt, Director General of the World Health Organization Dr. LEE Jong-wook and senior representatives from partner countries at a press briefing on Thursday, September 15, 2005 in New York City. The press briefing will build upon remarks made by President Bush at the High-Level Plenary Meeting of the United Nations General Assembly on September 14, 2005, and will further elaborate international actions to address avian influenza.
