| Press Statement Sean McCormack, Spokesman Washington, DC October 6, 2005 Rewards for Justice - Bali BombingsThe Department of State has authorized rewards for two Jemaah Islamiyah members. A reward of up to $10 million is offered for Dulmatin who is believed to be one of the masterminds in the 2002 bombings in Bali, Indonesia. A reward of up to $1 million is being offered for Umar Patek. Dulmatin, an electronics specialist with training in al-Qaida camps in Afghanistan, is a senior figure in the Jemaah Islamiyah terrorist organization. Patek is believed to have servedas the assistant for the field coordinator of the 2002 bombings in Bali, Indonesia. Additional information on these two men as well as sketches is available at www.rewardsforjustice.net. The United States is determined to bring these men to justice for their crimes.
