U.S. University Presidents Summit on International Education

President George W. Bush will deliver remarks at the U.S. University Presidents Summit on International Education, co-hosted by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings on Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 3:45 p.m., in the Dean Acheson Auditorium at the U.S. Department of State Harry S Truman Building, located at 2201 C St NW, Washington, DC.

Press coverage is as follows:

Pool Press Coverage For TV Cameras and Still Photographers

TV camera pool will include: US networks’ pool, State Department’s Office of Broadcast
Services (for international TV outlets), C-SPAN, WHTV and White House travel pool
Still cameras will be the White House travel pool cameras

Pre-set time for Cameras: 11:00 a.m. from the 23rd Street entrance

Open Press Coverage For Writers

Access for writers and stills: 2:45 p.m. from the 23rd Street entrance

Final Access for writers and stills: 3:00 p.m. from the 23rd Street entrance


NO PRESS WILL BE PERMITTED ENTRY AFTER 3:15 P.M.

Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
