Korea: Kaesong Industrial Complex

Question: Did the subject of the Kaesong Industrial Complex come up in the initial round of FTA negotiations with South Korea?

Answer: We refer you to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative for comment on this week’s negotiations. Our negotiations with the Koreans on the FTA will focus on goods and services originating in each of the two countries, consistent with our other FTAs.
