Murder of Russian Diplomats in Iraq

The United States condemns the vicious murder of four Russian diplomats taken hostage by Al-Qaida in Iraq. We mourn their loss and extend our condolences to their families and the Russian people.

The killing of Russian diplomats is a terrorist act, and we will do all we can to bring those responsible to justice. The United States stands with Russia, our partner in the war on terror.
