Assistant Secretary Ellen R. Sauerbrey to Travel to Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Thailand

Assistant Secretary of State for Population, Refugees and Migration Affairs Ellen R. Sauerbrey will travel to Malaysia, Bangladesh, and Thailand from August 21, 2006 through September 2, 2006 to examine refugee programs and policy, including a number of high-profile refugee issues. United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres will be traveling jointly with the Assistant Secretary on the Thailand portion of the trip.
