Meeting of the Defense Trade Advisory Group

The Defense Trade Advisory Group (DTAG) will meet on Thursday, September 21, 2006, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Dean Acheson Auditorium at the Department of State. The plenary meeting will be hosted by the Assistant Secretary of State for Political-Military Affairs, John Hillen and the Defense Trade Advisory Group Chairman, William Schneider, Jr.

The Defense Trade Advisory Group advises the U.S. Government on current policies, regulations, and technical issues affecting defense trade. During the September 21st meeting, current defense trade and related issues will be discussed.

The meeting is open to the public. Admittance to the Department of State building will be by pre-arranged clearance. To be placed on the clearance list, provide by September 14, 2006, your name, title, company/affiliation, phone number, date of birth, and identifying data (driver’s license number, U.S. Government ID or U.S. military ID) to Nicholas Memos, Office of Defense Trade Controls Management, by e-mail (MemosNI@state.gov) or by phone (202) 663-2804.

Please use the entrance located at 23rd Street, NW, Washington, DC, between C and D streets for clearance through security and access to the Dean Acheson Auditorium.
