Special Joint Press Briefing by Acting U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Political-Military Affairs Stephen D. Mull and U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs Matthew J. Bryza and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov

Acting Assistant Secretary of State Stephen D. Mull, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Matthew J. Bryza, and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov will jointly brief the press at 4:45 p.m. today, on the 10th annual U.S.-Azerbaijan Security Dialogue, a discussion seeking to deepen our bilateral security relationship in a multitude of areas. The briefing will be on the record, on camera, and will take place in the State Department Press Briefing Room, Room 2209.

Members of the press interested in attending should arrive in the C Street lobby of the State Department no later than 4:10 p.m. to allow adequate time to clear through security.

The media will be escorted from C Street Lobby at 4:25 p.m. No late escorts.

Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
