Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to Receive 2007 WNBA Inspiration Award

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will be the keynote speaker and award recipient at the Women's National Basketball Association's (WNBA) second annual All-Star Salute: Inspiring Women Luncheon on Friday, July 13, 2007 at 1:10 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the Renaissance Mayflower Hotel, 1127 Connecticut Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C.

The WBNA Inspiration Award recognizes an individual who inspires others through her commitment and dedication to work, family and community.

This event is open for press coverage.

Pre-set time for cameras: 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

Final access time for all press: 12:45 p.m.

Media representatives must present one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver's license or passport).
