Official Parliamentary Election Results in Turkey

The United States congratulates Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan and the Justice and Development Party on their victory in Turkish Parliamentary elections. These elections demonstrate the health of Turkish democracy and the Turkish people's commitment to free and open elections. We look forward to working with the new government once it is formed on the broad array of issues that make Turkey such a valued ally to the United States.
