Question: Have we seen reports of Chinese approval of two Vatican-backed bishops? What is our reaction?

Answer: We have seen reports that two bishops loyal to the Vatican have been appointed in China. We support continued dialogue between China and the Vatican and greater religious freedom for all religious believers in China.
