Indonesia: US Embassy Bomb Threat (Taken Question)

Question: Provide facts and comments about the bomb threat received at the US Embassy in Jakarta.

Answer: On Thursday morning local time, March 1, the U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia received bomb threat information.

Upon receipt of the information, Embassy personnel took appropriate action. Embassy operations were not disrupted and the Embassy maintains its regular operating schedule.
