Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to Participate in Dedication Ceremony of the George C. Marshall Conference Center, U.S. Department of State

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will participate in the dedication ceremony of the George C. Marshall Conference Center on Friday, October 26 at 11:30 a.m. in the recently renovated Marshall Wing of the Department of State. The space is designed to house conferences, meetings, and events to further the mission of the State Department.

Under Secretary Henrietta H. Fore will provide opening and closing remarks. Dr. Larry Bland, Senior Director and Editor, Marshall Papers, Marshall Foundation, and author of "The Papers of George Catlett Marshall" Vol. 1-5, will speak prior to the Secretary's remarks and her unveiling of the official engraved plaque in the conference center's reception area.
