Special Briefing on Secretary Rice’s Schedule and U.S. Priority Issues at the UN General Assembly

Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Kristen Silverberg will brief the press on Friday, September 21, at 11:00 a.m. on Secretary Rice’s schedule and U.S. priority issues for the UN General Assembly. This briefing will be on-the-record and on-camera, and will take place in the Department of State Press Briefing Room (Room 2209).

Media representatives planning to attend this briefing should present one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued media identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver's license or passport).
