Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to Receive Final Report From Advisory Committee on Transformational Diplomacy

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will receive the final report from the Advisory Committee on Transformational Diplomacy on Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. in the Treaty Room at the U.S. Department of State. Additional speakers include the acting co-chairs of the committee: former Governor John Engler, and former Senator John Breaux.

The Secretary’s remarks are open for press coverage.

Pre-set time for cameras: 12:45 p.m. from the 23rd Street entrance

Final access time for all media: 1:15 p.m. from the 23rd Street entrance

Media representatives attending this event must present one of the following: (1) a U.S. government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from his or her employer on letterhead verifying employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
