Under Secretary of State Reuben Jeffery III to Host Seventh U.S.-China Economic Policy Dialogue

Under Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Agricultural Affairs Reuben Jeffery III will host Vice Chairman of China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Zhang Xiaoqiang at the seventh session of the U.S.-China Economic Policy Dialogue on March 6-7 in Washington, D.C.

The Department of State’s dialogue with the NDRC, which has addressed a wide range of economic and energy policy topics, will focus in this meeting on structural issues including investment, energy, and macroeconomic policies. The dialogue was initiated in Beijing in November 2003.
