On March 31, the Netherlands will host the “International Conference on Afghanistan: A Comprehensive Strategy in a Regional Context” at the World Forum in The Hague.

, Afghan President Hamid Karzai and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon are expected to come to The Hague. The ministerial discussion will be co-chaired by Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Afghanistan Kai Eide, Afghan Minister of Foreign Affairs Rangin Dadfar Spanta, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Maxime Verhagen.
Press credentials are required, and the deadline to apply with the Netherlands Foreign Ministry is 6:00 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, March 24. The online application form is available at the link below.
