Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will host a trilateral meeting with Mexican Foreign Secretary Patricia Espinosa and Canadian Foreign Minister Lawrence Cannon on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 10:45 a.m. This meeting will provide an opportunity to prepare for the next North American Leaders’ Summit.

Pre-set time for cameras for camera spray: 10:15 a.m. from the 23rd Street entrance.
Final access for all press for camera spray: 10:30 a.m. from the 23rd Street entrance.

JOINT PRESS AVAILABILITY IN THE BENJAMIN FRANKLIN ROOM FOLLOWING THE MEETING
Pre-set time for cameras for press availability: 12:15 p.m. from the 23rd Street entrance.
Final access for all press for press availability: 12:45 p.m. from the 23rd Street entrance.

Media representatives may attend this event upon presentation of one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or
(3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification card (driver's license, passport). Press should allow adequate time to process through security.
