The Department of State will release the annual Congressionally mandated Country Reports on Terrorism 2009 on Thursday, August 5 at 12:30 p.m. Coordinator of the Office for Counterterrorism Daniel Benjamin and Deputy Director of the National Counterterrorism Center Russ Travers will provide opening remarks and will then respond to reporters' questions. Embargoed copies of the report will be available to the press on a secure website beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 5. Members of the press wishing to access the embargoed report should log onto the secure website at http://www.state.gov/j/ct/rls/crt/2009/index.htm
