The State Department’s Office of the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) announces an open competition to support a new public-private partnership between the United States and the North African countries of Algeria, Libya, Morocco, and Tunisia. The goal of the partnership is to foster economic opportunity and encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, job creation, and partnership development in these four North African countries.
MEPI is soliciting applications that will support partnerships among businesses and business associations, foundations, civil society organizations, and private entities in the Maghreb and in the U.S. to promote greater economic opportunity and closer links between organizations in the United States and in the region. Further details on this opportunity and the application process can be found online at: http://mepi.state.gov/opportunities/146092.htm.
