Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip H. Gordon will brief the media on the range of Trans-Atlantic meetings as well as the NATO Russia Council meeting held on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. This on-the-record, on camera briefing will take place in room 24M of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel on Wednesday, September 22 at 2:00p.m. EDT.
Media representatives planning to attend this briefing should present one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued media identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver's license or passport).
