Acting Coordinator for Reconstruction and Stabilization Ambassador Robert Loftis will travel to London, Brussels, and Stuttgart October 24-30. In his meetings, Ambassador Loftis will discuss collaboration and interoperability in stabilization and peacebuilding missions. In London the Acting Coordinator will meet with representatives from the United Kingdom Stabilisation Unit, the Department for International Development, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Ministry of Defence. In Brussels the Ambassador will visit with NATO allies and senior members of international NATO staff. He will also participate in a workshop on U.S.-EU Cooperation Crisis Management with the European Union and the 27 member state governments. Ambassador Loftis will also have meetings with the U.S. European Command and the U.S. Africa Command.
