Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Philip H. Gordon will travel to London from November 8-11, 2010. He will meet senior U.K. government officials to discuss a range of issues on our large bilateral agenda, including the upcoming NATO, U.S.-EU and NATO-Russia Summits.
Assistant Secretary Gordon will also deliver the thirteenth annual C. Douglas Dillon Lecture in European-American Relations at Chatham House, entitled “The United States and Europe: A New Era of Engagement.” The purpose of this annual lecture is to provide a forum for prominent and distinguished Americans to speak on Major American and European themes to the membership of Chatham House (The Royal Institute of International Affairs) and guests, and to honor Mr. C. Douglas Dillon for the many contributions he made to European-American relations in the public and private sector.
