Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton met with UN Special Envoy for Resolution 1559 Terje Roed-Larsen on December 10 to discuss the current situation in Lebanon. The Secretary emphasized the United States’ commitment to Lebanon’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, unity, and political independence.
