Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economic Affairs Mike Froman and European Union Trade Commissioner Karel De Gucht will brief the press following the Transatlantic Economic Council (TEC) meeting on December 17th at 2:00 pm in Rm. 1105 at the U.S. Department of State.
Founded in 2007, the TEC brings together senior policy makers and regulators from both sides of the Atlantic to focus on deepening our transatlantic relationship to promote innovation, addressing non-tariff barriers to trade through increased regulatory cooperation, and jointly exploring global economic competitiveness issues.
