Assistant Secretary for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance Rose E. Gottemoeller travels to Geneva, Switzerland, through January 28, for the opening week of the Conference on Disarmament’s 2011 session. She will engage in consultations and deliver the opening statement for the United States at the First Plenary of the 2011 Session of the Conference on Disarmament, in which she will press for immediate commencement of negotiations on a Fissile Material Cutoff Treaty.
