Today, the Office of the Coordinator for Reconstruction and Stabilization (S/CRS) released its 2010 Year in Review document. The publication discusses 2010 conflict prevention and stabilization efforts in countries such as Sudan, Afghanistan, and the Kyrgyz Republic and other activities of S/CRS and the Civilian Response Corps.
In 2010, S/CRS and the Corps worked on conflict prevention and stabilization in many countries central to U.S. national security. This work expanded the abilities of American embassies in countries in crisis to address critical issues, uniting expertise from across the government in support of U.S. foreign policy objectives.
