Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor Michael Posner will visit Amman, Jordan from March 1-3, 2011. The Assistant Secretary will meet with government officials and civil society representatives to discuss the importance of democratic reform, civil society, women’s rights, role of independent media, the protection of ethnic and religious minorities, and labor rights.
