Special Representative for International Labor Affairs Barbara Shailor will travel to Geneva, Switzerland to attend the 310th session of the Governing Body of the International Labor Organization, March 21-25. As part of the U.S. delegation, Ms. Shailor will join other Administration officials as well as representatives from employer and worker organizations to discuss labor issues affecting workers worldwide, such as the global employment situation, respect for worker rights and forced labor in Burma. She will also meet with a range of government officials to advance the Department’s labor-related foreign policy priorities.
