Under Secretary for Political Affairs William J. Burns will meet today with the Co-Chairs of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group, Ambassadors Bernard Fassier of France, Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, and Robert Bradtke of the United States, and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk to discuss their recent and upcoming activities as mediators of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Under Secretary Burns will reaffirm the United States’ strong commitment as a Co-Chair of the Minsk Group to helping the sides achieve a lasting, peaceful settlement of the conflict.
