Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues Melanne Verveer will travel to Tunis, Tunisia from May 2-6, 2011 to lead a State Department colloquium with women civil society leaders from throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. While in Tunisia, she will also meet with Tunisian government officials and representatives from business and civil society on issues relating to women and Tunisia’s political transition.
