Bureau of International Information Programs Coordinator Dawn L. McCall will travel to New York City June 2 - 3 to meet with leading social media researchers and industry leaders regarding the latest developments in digital engagement, gaming for change, and crowd-sourcing. Discussions will focus on tools and collaborative projects that will expand IIP’s communications programs to inform and engage international youth audiences.
Coordinator McCall will visit the New York Times R&D Lab, Scholastic International, and New York Public Library Social Media Lab. She will also meet with founders of Meetup, Livestream, FourSquare and Games for Change to explore a range of existing and future collaborative opportunities to help expand IIP’s array of products and services for embassies and consulates around the world.
