On Thursday, July 14, 2011, Arturo Valenzuela, Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs, will hold a conversation with Dr. Cynthia Arnson, Director of the Latin America Program, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, on “Opportunities & Challenges in the Western Hemisphere.” The discussion will be moderated by Cheryl Benton, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, and streamed live on DipNote, the Department of State’s official blog, at 1:15 p.m. EDT.
