Question:   When is the last time David Hale spoke to the Palestinian negotiator?

Answer:   Special Envoy David Hale spoke most recently with Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat on August 2. In addition to direct contact on August 2, our consul general in Jerusalem conveys messages between the U.S. and the Palestinians on a regular, almost daily basis.
