Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Dr. Esther Brimmer will elaborate U.S. goals and priorities for the upcoming session of the United Nations General Assembly in an address at the United States Institute of Peace on Wednesday, September 7 at 2:00 p.m.
Assistant Secretary Brimmer’s remarks, entitled “Sustaining America’s Global Leadership,” will summarize recent U.S. multilateral accomplishments, continuing challenges, and the crucial importance of sustaining U.S. leadership at the United Nations.
