QUESTION: What is the status of immunity for Department of State contractor personnel in Iraq after 2011?

ANSWER: We expect that after Dec. 31, 2011, U.S. contractor personnel in Iraq will continue to be without immunity and subject to Iraq’s criminal jurisdiction, as they have been for some time and are today.
