Ambassador Bonnie Jenkins, U.S. Coordinator for Threat Reduction Programs, will represent the United States at a seminar hosted by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in Tarnow, Poland, on October 26, 2011. In remarks at Tarnow City Hall, Ambassador Jenkins will provide U.S. policy recommendations on chemical safety and security.
The seminar aims to improve states' preparedness against deliberate releases of toxic chemicals and to prevent and prepare for attacks against chemical installations. The seminar will be held in conjunction with the Tarnow Municipality and the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry.
