Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Johnnie Carson will travel to China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea from November 8-15 to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts. On November 10 in Beijing, he will also co-chair the fifth round of the U.S.-China Sub-Dialogue on Africa, agreed to at the last round of the Strategic and Economic Dialogue.
