Rose Gottemoeller, Assistant Secretary for Arms Control, Verification and Compliance will travel to Belgium, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Romania, and Moldova from December 11-16.
In Brussels, she will participate in the U.S.-EU Verification Dialogue. On December 13, she will attend a conference on “Challenges to the Nuclear Non-proliferation Regime” at Wilton Park, in the United Kingdom. From December 14-16, she will travel to Sofia, Bucharest, and Chisinau to meet with counterparts and discuss arms control-related issues of mutual interest, including the future of conventional arms control in Europe.
