QUESTION: Has a new Syrian ambassador to the United States been identified? If so, what is the individual’s name?

ANSWER: The Syrian government ended the tour of duty of Imad Moustafa effective December 13. Mr. Zouheir Jabbour has been notified to the U.S. Government as Charge d'Affaires ad interim.
