Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor Michael Posner will deliver opening keynote remarks on Tuesday, January 17 at 9:00 a.m. at the 8th annual State of the Net Conference. Two years after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton first addressed global Internet freedom as a core policy priority, Assistant Secretary Posner will reflect on the past year in discussing the challenges and responsibilities of the public and private sector to advance a free and open Internet.
The event begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency, Capitol Hill 400 New Jersey Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20001 and can be followed on Twitter at @State_DRL and @SOTN with the hashtag #SOTN.
