The U.S. Department of State announced today that Ann Stock, Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs, will travel to Los Angeles February 16-17, 2012 to participate in the International Olympic Committee’s World Conference on Women and Sport.
Assistant Secretary Stock will deliver remarks entitled, “The United States’ ‘Smart Power’ Approach to Empowering Women and Girls Through Sports,” on Friday, February 17 at 11:00 a.m. PST at the J.W. Marriott at L.A. Live, 900 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA. This event is open to credentialed media. Click here for more information.
