Brownfield Travel to Bulgaria
On February 17, 2012, Assistant Secretary for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs William R. Brownfield will travel to Bulgaria to meet with senior government officials and civil society leaders to discuss Bulgaria’s bilateral cooperation on fighting organized crime and corruption and efforts to increase citizens’ access to justice.
During his visit, Assistant Secretary Brownfield will discuss judicial accountability and transparency, asset forfeiture reform, law enforcement cooperation, and the new specialized court for combating organized crime.
